I am  so thankful that I had the capacity for persistence and  resistance to make thru the darkest of times. I am here at 67 only because I refused to give up.

 

Ten years ago, I had my vision of recreating lives and community . My task was to change my story . I was at point in my life where I had nothing working for me. It was time to  change my path one step at a time.

 

With blind faith, lots of courage and trust in myself, I set off for some adventures of a lifetime

 

I am most proud and thankful for my 3 connections and friendships with three young men. Livias  from Uganda,  Maungo Jr. Zambia Gee, my first love relationship, Philippines.

 

These three loves came into my life at time when I had no friends . I feel honored that they accepted me into their lives .

 

In 2016, I was inspired to follow my values and canvass 5 states for Bernie Sanders Presidential campaign .At time I called the perfect storm. So perfect that Democratic party rigged the primary so   Bernie could not win.

 

In 2017, I followed my heart in the search of community to the Zuni Mountain Sanctuary in New Mexico.  I learned  that community  is made up of individual relationships.  I met

some of the most beautiful and loving  people that ever lived . Because of those first friendships, I have the building blocks to be part  of a community and help it grow and prosper

 

The 2000-2002 Covid Pandemic brought me back into my old story . A story of isolation  and emptiness .

 

Today. In 2024, the old story is changing to one of friendships love and connection.  I am building a web of independence. A world light years apart from the one i lived most of my life.

 

Today as  am older, I have new appreciation for my health . Knowing that living life to the fullest is not possible without good health. I now have both the motivation and intention to get in and stay in the be st condition of my life.  I will forever be biking. Swimming running and kayaking

 

My biggest dream of building my online community, Recreating Lives and Community, is about to  come true. So  many false starts and dead ends. I am glad I had the perseverance to not give up .

 

In 2020, I took the online program  The Best year of your life by Derick Rydall. I thank  him for providing the building blocks to  create the best year of my life for the rest of my life

 

This adventure was one that had no path. I listened to my heart for my next step. It was unpredictable. One that  could never have written.
